Third part and final part “Greenhouse, 2016” is an installation with a light construction and natural objects. The light pentagram construction hangs in the air, beneth the construction are 127 pieces of Sempervivums in pots, which is the artist’s own collection, collected over a period of one year around Mainz and surrounding region. The object is presented as a symbol of the nomadic artists’ life.
The work exists just as a photographic documentation. Because of nomadic reason Kim has to take the plants down to make a next following piece.
This installation has inspired one of botanist, where this happened during his PhD research journey at the Alpes in summer 2015 to find the succulent plant Sempervivum tectorum. The whole installation form contains intricately carved pentagonal shapes, also the shape of lying the 127 Sempervivum pots. To make this installation Kim used as a material with nine aluminum bars, wires and five fluorescent lamps.
세 번째 챕터이자 마지막 부분인 “온실”은 조명의 구조물과 자연물이 있는 설치물이다. 오각형 조명 조형물은 공중에 매달려 있고 127의 Sempervivums 화분이 바닥에 놓여 있다.이 작품은 Mainz와 주변 지역에서 1 년 동안 수집 된 아티스트 자신의 컬렉션이다. 이 작업은 유목 예술가의 삶의 상징으로 보여주고 있다. 작품은 사진 문서로 존재한다. 유목적 이유 때문에 다음 작품을 만들기 위해 식물을 건조시켰다. 이 작업은 식물학자에게 영감을 받아 제작하였다. 127 개의 Sempervivum 화분이 오각형의 모양으로 바닥에 놓여 있고 이 설치를 위해 9 개의 알루미늄 막대, 와이어 및 5 개의 형광 램프가 재료로 사용 되었다.
